Gerard Vaccaro, 82, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2019 at the RWJ –New Brunswick with his loving family by his side.

Born in Queens, New York, he moved to Staten Island, N.Y. to raise his family before moving to Monroe.

Gerard was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and great-grandfather.  His many interests include travel, acting, gardening, fishing, golf, and a good game of poker. He also loved attending all of his grandchildren’s concerts, plays and sporting events.

He was the husband of the late Annette Vaccaro and is survived by his children, Todd Vaccaro and wife Eileen, Lisa A. Romano and husband Jon; his grandchildren, Todd Vaccaro Jr., Victoria Vaccaro, Hailey Romano, and Olivia Romano; his great-grandchildren, Dom and Jacob De Muro; his brother, Guy Vaccaro.

Friends and family will gather at 10am Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe, N.J. 08831

Burial will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick, N.J.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at the funeral home.
