Obituary of George G. Hunte

George G. Hunte passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Center for Hope in Elizabeth, NJ.  He was 81 years old.  Mr. Hunte was born and raised in Bronx, NY and resided in Monroe Twp. since 1969.  He proudly served his country in the US Army.  He was a pharmacist his entire career, retiring from Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge in 2013.  He was an avid guitar player, reader, enjoyed carpentry, and traveling.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Helen Hunte in 2018, his daugher, Mary Helen Karmu in 2018, and his brother, Dennis Bynoe in 2017.

He is survived by his son, George E. Hunte of Monroe Twp., two granddaughters, Emma A. Hunte, and Lauren A. Hunte, his sister-in-law, Eileen Bynoe of Manalapan, and many other extended family members.

A funeral liturgy will be 10:15am on Saturday June 29, 2019 at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood, NJ.  Entombement will follow in Marlboro Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum, Morganville.
