Obituary of Thomas E. Lee
Thomas E. 'Tommy' Lee, 78, of Colonia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday June 24, 2019 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Tommy was the lead singer of the country band, Tommy Lee and the Wanderers. He was an avid NASCAR fan who proudly gained the nickname "Turn 3 Lee" after hitting the wall at Pocono Raceway. He also had a passion for hunting and skeet shooting.
Tommy was a successful business owner of Dynamic Fan, Inc. in Roselle from 1988 until his retirement in 2012.
Pre-deceased by his son, Lee Hyer of Idaho Falls, ID, Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Karen (Petrucci) Lee, his daughter, Kelly Hyer of North Brunswick, his son, Bryon Hyer and his girlfriend Lisa Pron of Millstone Twp., five grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many other extended family members and friends.
A private cremation is being held under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc.
A memorial gathering will be from 5-8pm on Monday July 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
