Obituary of Joseph K. Kokoszka

Joseph K. Kokoszka died on Monday November 28, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 101 years old. Mr. Kokoszka was born and raised in Helmetta and has resided there his entire life. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was a machine operator for George C. Helme Co. in Helmetta for 50 years before his retirement in 1975. He was a parishioner and a member of the Holy Name Society of Holy Trinity RC Church in Helmetta. He was a member of the American Legion Star Post 127, Jamesburg.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Mary (Puchalik) Kokoszka in 1982.
He is survived by two daughters, Marilyn A. Tucker and her husband William of Hamilton Twp., and Christine M. Kokoszka of East Brunswick, one brother, Stanley Kokoszka and his wife Dorothy of Galloway, one sister, Adele Oldzej of Princeton, one grandson, Sean J. Tucker of Hoboken, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30am Monday December 5, 2011 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at Holy Trinity RC Church, Helmetta followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-7pm at the funeral home.
