Mr. James E. Keaveney died on Thursday November 24, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 49 years old. Mr. Keaveney was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 5, 1962 to Robert E. and Dorothy Ann (Jennings) Keaveney. He has resided in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. since 2007. He graduated from Little Flower Elementary School and was a part of the last graduating class of Jamesburg High School. He was employed for many years as the head maintenance man at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg. He was pre-deceased by his beloved mother, Dorothy Ann (Jennings) Keaveney in 2005. He is survived by his father, Robert E. Keaveney of Monroe Twp., his son, Deven, and Deven's mother Irene Keaveney, three brothers, Thomas W. Keaveney of East Lansing, MI, Kevin M. Keaveney and his wife Jennifer, and their two daughters, Hailey and Stella Keaveney of Holland, PA, and Robert J. Keaveney of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by his beloved aunts, Joan Jennings of Monroe Twp., and Mary Ann Kresnicka and her husband Ron of Magalia, CA, one uncle, Dr. James Jennings and his wife Eveline of Montpelier, VT, and loving nieces, Susan Celmer, Deb Celmer, Kerri Ann Jennings, and Diane Jennings Clayton, Funeral services will begin at 10:30am Monday November 28, 2011 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 11:00am at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg. A committal service will take place prior to a private cremation at Holy Cross Burial Park Crematory, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
