Obituary of Emily Heffner-Ernst

Emily Heffner-Ernst died on Thursday November 10, 2011 at Raritan Bay Medical Center-Old Bridge Division. She was 36 years old. Mrs. Ernst was born in South Amboy. She lived in East Brunswick and Howell for many years before moving to Monroe Twp. in 2002. She was an office manager for Thomas Ernst & Associates Professional Land Surveyors in Monroe Twp. for the past 17 years. She was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. She was pre-deceased by her mother, Justine (Koziol) Heffner, her first husband, Carlos Torres, her mother-in-law, Patricia Ernst, and her brother-in-law, Thomas P. Ernst. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Christopher M. Ernst, Sr. of Monroe Twp., two sons, Joao Torres and Christopher M. Ernst, Jr. both of Monroe Twp., her father, Douglas P. Heffner and his wife Norene of Jackson, her father-in-law, Thomas Ernst of Monroe Twp, her sister, Holly Heffner-Kriss of Monroe Twp. her brother, Joseph Heffner and his wife Tara of Huntersville, NC, her brother-in-law, Daniel X. Kriss, Sr. of Sayreville, two nieces, Nicole Kriss, and Kaitlyn Heffner, and two nephews, Daniel X. Kriss, Jr., and Justin Heffner. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am Tuesday November 15, 2011 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp followed by Interment in St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church Cemetery, Sayreville. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
