Mrs. Colleen E. (Armstrong-Moslander) Gabilanes died Saturday October 29th at home after a brave fight against cancer. She was 41 years old. Born in Pennellville, NY, she was raised in Syracuse, NY. After graduating from high school, she received her BA with honors from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. She had a 16 year career with Accenture in Florham Park, NJ, as a manager of the human resources department. She was a member of Immaculate Conception RCC, Spotswood, and was a strong and devoted mother and wife to her twin sons, AJ and Connor and her husband, Jeff. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Jamie Welch (2009) and her parents, Walter and Sandra (Homan) Moslander. Surviving are her husband of 12 years, Jeff and twin sons, Anthony Jr. and Connor. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Florence Homan, siblings, Melissa McCurry of Pasadena, CA and Robin Griffin and her husband, Dan of Liverpool, NY, Ed Moslander of NYC, NY, Todd Moslander of Albany, NY, Sue Ellen Argy and David Moslander, both of Syracuse. She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin at 9:30am Thursday November 3, 2011 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp. A funeral liturgy will be 10:15am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, So. Brunswick. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kalidescope of Hope, www.kohnj.org, PO Box 1124 Madison, NJ 07940.
