Obituary of Michael P. Weglarz

Michael P. Weglarz, a son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend, passed away at his home in Old Bridge on Thursday October 27, 2011 with loving family at his side after battling jaw cancer since September 2010. He was born on November 22, 1936 to the late Michael and Mary Weglarz in New Brunswick and was a lifelong resident of Old Bridge. He graduated from South River High School in 1956. After graduating High School, he went to work for Morton International, Inc. in North Brunswick. He retired in 1991. Family and friends alike will remember him caring for his acres of lawn which brought him hours of comfort. During his illness, he witnessed was comforted with the love and support of his family, and they witnessed his strength and courage.
He was pre-deceased by five brothers, Louis, Joseph, John, Frank, and Fred, and two sisters, Ann Janwich, and Sophie Mauser.
He leaves behind two sisters, Nell White of Old Bridge, and Irene Inglis and her husband Philip of Holmdel, his sister-in-law, Joan Weglarz of Monroe Twp., and Marie Weglarz of Florida, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00am Monday October 31, 2011 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at Holy Trinity RC Church, Helmetta. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8pm and Monday morning from 9-10am at the funeral home.
