Obituary of Robert Carroll

Robert Carroll died on Friday October 7, 2011 at his home in Monroe Twp. He was 58 years old. Mr. Carroll was born in New Brunswick. He was raised in East Brunswick and has resided in Monroe Twp. since 1983. He worked at Mickey's Donutland in East Brunswick before opening his own shop, Bob's Donut & Pastry Shop in Old Bridge. For the past 16 years, he owned and operated his own Trucking business, Gofer Delivery Service, Inc. in Monroe Twp. He was an avid nascar fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his mother, Margaret (Ross) Carroll in 1985. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia (Shahinian) Carroll of Monroe Twp., his father and step-mother, Walter Carroll, Sr. and Doris Carroll of Toms River, his son, Bob Carroll and his wife Meghan of Howell, his daughter, Katie Carroll of Monroe Twp., three brothers, Walter Carroll, Jr. of Riverview, FL, Richard Carroll of East Brunswick, and Dennis Carroll and his wife Diane of Monroe Twp., one sister, Lynn Ann Potkulski and her husband William of East Brunswick, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will begin at 10:00am Tuesday October 11, 2011 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at St. James RC Church, Jamesburg. Cremation is private. Visitation will be Monday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
