Mrs. Marion (DiSanti) Villani died Sunday Sept. 11th at home after a long illness.
Born in Springfield, MA, she lived in Ossining, NY for five years, Upper Manhattan for 24 years, Whitestone, Queens, for 33 years and finally East Brunswick for 24 years.
She was the confidential secretary to the comptroller of the New York Daily News for 39 years, retiring in 1987. Mrs. Villani was a member of St. Bartholomew's RC Church and the Rosary Society, East Brunswick, and also the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, East Brunswick Post.
Her husband, Rudolph A. died in 1999. Surviving are her loving daughter, Debra Miller and her husband, Richard of Monroe Twp., a son, Peter Villani and his wife, Leslie of Forest Hills, NY, and their three children, Ashley, Lindsey, and Cameron. She is also survived by her adoring granddaughter, Courtney Miller Trudeau and her husband, Jeff of Ipswich, MA.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:15 am from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 am at St. Bartholomew's RCC, East Brunswick. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, LI, NY. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are respectfully requested to either, Life Choice Hospice 2oo Dryden Rd.
