Mrs. Marie R. (Coots) Holtzman died Tuesday August 23rd at home. She was 85 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Levittown, LI, NY for 19 years before moving to Clearbrook in Monroe Township 32 years ago. She was a legal secretary for several NYC law firms for 30 years retiring in 1994.
In better times, Mrs. Holtzman enjoyed outdoor activities including camping, hiking, skiing and traveling with her husband. She was a member of St. James RC Church, Jamesburg.
Her husband Edward R. died in 2001. She is survived by a nephew, Charles Holtzman, Jr of Lowell, MA, a niece, Gail Holtzman of Canton, GA and dear friends, Priscilla Faille and her husband, Robert of Windsor and Barbara Morgan of East Windsor.
A committal service will be held Friday at 11:00am at the Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel, South Brunswick, followed by entombment. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James RC Church, 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, NJ 08831. M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Monroe Township has been entrusted with arrangements.
