Ernest V. Menichini died peacefully at his home, in the company of family, on Friday August 19, 2011. He was born in New York City and most recently resided in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. He was a longshoreman for the ILA in Brooklyn.
He was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Mary (Prestigiacomo) Menichini in 2003.
He was the devoted father of Marion Carpenito, Linda Menichini, and Stephanie Kopf, cherished father-in-law of Al Carpenito and Eric Kopf, loving brother of Florence Barbieri and Viola Cosentino (Ernest), beloved grandfather of Stephen (Marie), Craig (Jessica), and Stacey (Danny), and adored great grandfather of Carrie-Anne, Cameron, Madison, Leighton, and Ryan.
Funeral Services will begin at 10:00am on Monday August 22, 2011 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg followed by Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn. Visitation is Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
