Obituary of Linda Gonzalez

Linda (Gaydosh) Gonzalez passed away peacefully at her home in Monroe Township on Friday July 15, 2011 after a long illness. Born in Yonkers, NY, she graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 1965. Linda lived in Old Bridge for 35 years before moving to Greenbriar at Whittingham, Monroe Township in 2007. Linda worked for the Small Business Administration at Rutgers University in New Brunswick until she became disabled by Primary Immunodeficiency. She then dedicated her energies to helping others by organizing healing circles and home bound support groups through St. Thomas church as well as at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NY. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Old Bridge.
Predeceased by her husband Adalberto in 2010, Linda was the loving mother of Mark and his fiancée Yvonne of Naples, FL, Anthony and his wife Dawn of Bradenton, FL, and Paul and his wife Teresa of Mahopac, NY, the cherished grandmother of Brandon, Brytany and Ryan and the beloved sister of William Gaydosh and Judy Young.
A memorial gathering of friends and relatives will be 3-5pm on Saturday July 23, 2011 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A memorial service will take place at 4pm during the gathering.
