Obituary of Michael Peter Dashkevicz

Michael P. Dashkevicz, born December 12, 1952 in Detroit Michigan, passed away on Friday June 3, 2011 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 58 years old. Michael was a senior research microbiologist with Merck & Co at the Rahway facility in NJ from 1983 through 2001. He was also the President of the Ninja Club, an investment club based in New Jersey. Michael graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Microbiology and Public Health, and a MS in Chemical Engineering in 1983. His interests through his life included fishing, fine gemstones, camping, and was active through the local boy scouts. He is survived by his three children, Alexandra Dashkevicz of Brick, NJ, Christine Dashkevicz of Brick, NJ and Nicholas Dashkevicz from Jamesburg, NJ, one brother, Paul Dashkevicz and his wife Hope of Newport, MI, one sister, Julie Trevino of Lincoln Park, MI, two nieces, Stacey Nievweija and Jaime Lapere, and two nephews, Mark Trevino and Ryan Dashkevicz. A funeral service will be 8:00pm on Monday June 6, 2011 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Cremation is private. Visitation will be Monday from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
