Mr. Raoul P. Silva-Netto died Saturday May 28th at home He was 79 years old. Born in Manila, Philippines, he came to the US in 1985. Previously, he was a clerk at an elementary school in Naga City, Philippines for 25 years, retiring in 1985. Since coming to live with his sister in Monroe Township, he was a communicant of Nativity of Our Lord RCC.
He is survived by two brothers in the Philippines, Benjamin and Francisco, two sisters, Erlinda Silva-Netto, whith whom he lived in Clearbrook in Monroe Twp., and Ofelia Silva-Netto of Jersey City, and 11 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin at 8:45am Wednesday from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RCC, Monroe Twp. Private cremation will follow. Visitation will be Tuesday evening only, 7-9pm at the funeral home.
