Obituary of Janet Sorrentino

Janet Sorrentino - Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ Janet Sorrentino, 78, died on Saturday September 1, 2018 at Park Place Center, South Brunswick, NJ. Janet was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ; she resided in Bayonne, NJ for most of her life before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ in 2014. Janet was employed by Haddad in Bayonne, NJ, where she worked in the accounts payable department for thirty years, retiring in 2014. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and crocheting. Janet is preceded in death by her brother, John Kaba (2015). Janet is survived by her son, Marc Sorrentino of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, daughter, Mia McCabe and her husband Patrick McCabe, Sr., of Monroe Township, NJ, brother, Steve Kaba and his wife Debbie of PA, sister, Deborah Costa of Bayonne, NJ, sister-in-law, Pat Kaba of Parlin, NJ and five grandchildren, Anthony, Patrick, Jr., Andrew, Ellie and Ian. Also surviving are extended family members and friends. Memorial Gathering will be from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday September 8, 2018 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Memorial services will begin at 1 PM following the memorial gathering hours at the funeral home.
