Obituary of Patricia M. Tusa

Patricia C (Moran) Tusa was born in Brooklyn NY and lived in the Crown Heights section. She attended Catherine McCauley High School, Fordham University, and later took extensive courses at the American Management Association in New York City. After living in Brooklyn she moved to Kendall Park in the late 1950’s with her family.
Her business career included employment as an executive secretary and personnel manager for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in Princeton and Recording for the Blind at their headquarters in New York City. After three years of commuting to New York, she returned to Princeton as legal administrator for the law firm of Smith, Stratton,
Wise, Heher, and Brennan.
After retiring, she had time to volunteer at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
She moved to Monroe Township in the early 2000’s, first to Rossmoor and then to Monroe Village where she volunteered for the Dining Room Committee.
She had a variety of interests including jigsaw puzzles, Mahjong, reading, traveling, cooking, and international foods and she was especially fond of animals.
She is survived by four children, Mary Beth Kren and her husband Albert of Princeton, Eileen Calvanelli and her husband Joseph of Morristown, Kathryn Cocciolillo and her husband Robert of Rocky Hill, and John Tusa and his companion Shelia Peck of Lafayette, CO, four grandchildren, Stephanie Kren, Peter Calvanelli, Kelly Diehl and her husband Matthew, and Joseph Tusa, and two great grandchildren, Charles, and Cameron.
Visitation will be from 9-10:30am on Saturday August 18, 2018 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Funeral services will begin at 10:30am on Saturday from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 11:00am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
