Ronald Romano - Monroe Township, NJ
Ronald Romano, 69, died on Tuesday July 3, 2018 at Parker at Monroe. Ronald was born in New York City; he resided in the Bronx, NY, Edison, NJ and Piscataway, NJ before moving to Monroe Township, NJ six year ago. Ronald was a graduate of Fordham University, where he received a degree in sociology; he continued his education at C. W. Post, where he received his master’s degree in Criminal Justice. Ronald had a long standing career with the FBI for thirty two years, retiring in 2000. He was later employed by the city of North Brunswick as a Director of Public Safety and then by Essex County, where he worked for the Essex County Inspector General’s Office, officially retiring in 2008. Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army - Special Forces during the Vietnam War.
Ronald is preceded in death by his brother, Darry Romano (2016).
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of forty six years, Annette Romano, of Monroe Township, NJ, his two sons: Michael Romano and his wife Jane of Manalapan, NJ, Ron Romano and his wife Alison of Cumming, GA., his four grandchildren: Jack, Luke, Beau and Wesley, one very special granddaughter on the way, his brothers: Tedd Romano, Michael Romano and Scott Romano and his mother, Mary Romano.
Visitation will be 2-4pm & 7-9pm on Sunday July 8, 2018 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 - 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9am on Monday July 9, 2018 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10am at St. Thomas More RC Church - 186 Gordons Corner Rd. Manalapan, N.J. 07726. Interment is private.
