Obituary of Robert W. McBride

Robert W. McBride, 69, of Monroe Twp. died on June 25, 2018 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. Robert was born and raised in Queens. He lived in Seaford, Long Island before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1979. Robert was employed by AT&T for over 25 years, retiring as District Manager in 1998. He kept up with the latest tech trends and politics and enjoyed a good political discussion. He loved listening to Doo Wop music, was a big Mets fan and enjoyed following Rutgers football. Most of all he loved to hear about his grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Richard McBride and his sister, Eileen Milazzo. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Suzanne (Haddow) McBride of Monroe Twp., his son, Michael McBride and his wife Rebecca of Piscataway, his daughter, Christine Witham and her husband James of Middletown, DE and four grandchildren: Sean, Addison, Leyna and Matthew. Visitation will be 7-9pm on Thursday June 28, 2018 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 - 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Friday June 29, 2018 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10am at St. James the Less RC Church - 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, NJ 08831 followed by entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum - South Brunswick.
