Donna Rose (Curtis) Ferrara passed away on Sunday May 20, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton. She was 92 years old. Mrs. Ferrara was born in Niles, MI and was raised in Dowagiac, MI. She lived most of her life in the Deans section of South Brunswick and has resided in Hamilton since 2010. She co-owned and operated, with her late husband Dominick A., Sr., Mime’s Pizzeria in Roselle Park for 22 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed old movies. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family. Mrs. Ferrara was a devout catholic and most recently was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great RC Church in Hamilton.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Dominick A., Sr. in 1991, her son, Michael Rose, her daughter, Patricia Rose Delgado, four brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by five children, Karen Rose of Hamilton, Shari Ferrara Oram and her husband Charles of Melbourne, FL, Dominick A. Ferrara, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Kendall Park, Joseph Ferrara and his wife Julie of Kendall Park, and James Ferrara of Hamilton, 12 grandchildren, Allyson Ferrara, Dominick A. Ferrara, III, Anthony Ferrara and his wife Kristen, Joseph Ferrara and his wife Supadee, Stephen Ferrara and his wife Erin, Elizabeth Ferrara, Sarah Irizarry and her husband Adam, Margaret Ferrara, Michael Ferrara, Charles Oram, Dylan Ferrara, and Raquel Ferrara, and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be from 4-7pm on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home - 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 - 732-521-0555. A Memorial Mass will be 10:00am on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at St. Augustine of Canterbury RC Church, Kendall Park followed by Interment of Cremated Remains in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
