Obituary of John F. Zahorchak, Sr.

John F. Zahorchak, Sr. died on Thursday April 26, 2018 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro. He was 66 years old. John was born in Perth Amboy and raised in Metuchen. He lived throughout New Jersey before settling in Monroe Twp. 12 years ago. John proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a warehouse manager before owning his own small painting and contracting business, JZ Painting. John loved cooking, fishing, sports, gardening, reading, movies, traveling and making us laugh with his humor. Most of all he was a man of integrity and a loving father. John is survived by his soul mate of 17 years, Donna Flatley of Monroe Twp., two sons: John F. Zahorchak, Jr. and his fiancée, Danielle Silva of Bedminster and William C. Zahorchak of Somerset, three sisters: Linda Sterling and her husband Dave of Chicago, Kathleen Hedrick and her husband George of Connecticut and Joan Huston of Connecticut and her late husband, Richard, eleven nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10am-12pm on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at the M.
