Lorraine (McEvoy) Schwarz passed away on Thursday April 26, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hospice in Hamilton. She was 83 years old. Lorraine was born in Brooklyn, NY. She lived in Metuchen and Milltown for most of her life before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 1999. She was employed as a marketing and duplicating personnel representative for Personal Products in Milltown for 13 years. She retired in 1995. She enjoyed baking, decorating cakes, and painting. She was a member of the Emerald Society of Rossmoor, the CRS Dancers and has had a Pen-Pal, Pauline, from England since the 8th grade who became her very dear friend. She was pre-deceased by two siblings, William McEvoy and Helen Shiffner. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Calvin Schwarz, Sr. of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., three children, Calvin Schwarz, Jr. and his wife Mary (Rogers) of Ohio, Michael Schwarz and his wife Andrea (Nemeth) of Kendall Park, and June Schwarz Irey of Kendall Park, six grandchildren, Meghan Kackley and her husband Mitch, Brandon Irey and his wife Heather, Kurt Schwarz, Julia Schwarz, Michael Schwarz, and Kristina Schwarz, five great grandchildren, Emma, Sophia, Olivia, Brandon, Jr., and Bentley, and one on the way, and many other extended family members. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday April 27, 2018 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:15am on Saturday April 28, 2018 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:00am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp., followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
