Obituary of Mary Emanuele

Mary (Kohut) Emanuele passed away on Tuesday April 17, 2018 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 98 years old. Mrs. Emanuele was born in Czechoslovakia and came to the US when she was just 18 months old. She lived in Perth Amboy for many years and has resided in Fords since 1965. She worked for the telephone company in her early years and later in life taught crafts to Senior Citizens in Clubs in Perth Amboy and Woodbridge. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church in Perth Amboy and was a member of their Rosarians Society. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds. She is survived by two children, Maryann E. Lair and her husband Mark of Monroe Twp., and Mark A. Emanuele of Fords, two granddaughters, Rebecca, and Amanda, one brother-in-law, Raymond Huber, and many other extended family members. Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Friday April 20, 2018 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Saturday April 21, 2018 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp., followed by Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Perth Amboy. In lieu of flowers, Mary’s family is asking for everyone to turn to God and offer a simple prayer for Mary, each other, and for peace.
