Victor Muerman - Monroe Township, NJ
Victor Muerman, 86, died on Thursday March 15, 2018 at the Wedgwood Gardens Care Center, Freehold, NJ. Victor was born in Kharkov, Russia and came to the United States in 1953. He settled in the Bronx, NY and resided in East Brunswick, NJ and Barnegat, NJ before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ in 2015. Victor proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a statistical writer for the Miles Samuel Co. in New York City until his retirement in 1993. He volunteered his time at the Barnegat Lighthouse, enjoyed carving wood birds and crafted a model of the Barnegat Lighthouse that is on display in the Lighthouse Museum. Victor was also an avid reader and spoke five different languages.
Victor is survived by his loving wife, Angela (Gatto) Muerman of Monroe Township, NJ, his son Al Nacco and his wife Christine of Carteret, NJ, his sister, Cornelia Muermann of Houston, TX., his brother-in-law Gregory Gatto and his wife Mary of Monroe Twp., NJ, his sister-in-law Caroline Tarzia of Hingham, MA., his sister-in-law Henrietta Bauer and her husband Stephen of Albuquerque, NM and his two grandchildren Anthony and Danielle.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Thursday March 22, 2018 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home - 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 - 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM on Thursday March 22, 2018 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 11:00 AM on Thursday at St. Bartholomew’s RC Church - 470 Ryders Ln, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 followed by interment in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery - 350 Province Line Road - Wrightstown, NJ
