Antoinette Gambassi - Monroe Township, NJ Antoinette Gambassi, 87, died on Sunday January 14, 2018 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Antoinette was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; she resided in Staten Island, NY before moving to Monroe Township, NJ four years ago. Antoinette was a homemaker and cherished the time she got to spend with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Antoinette was a devout Roman Catholic, she prayed the rosary on a daily basis and her favorite Saints were; St. Padre Pio, St. Anthony, St. Joseph and St. Jude. She loved to cook, knit, sew and crochet. Antoinette is preceded in death by her husband, Romeo M. Gambassi, her three brothers: Angelo, Donato and Matthew Russo, her four sisters: Phyllis Vento, Josephine DeMarco, Carmela Giugliano and Eleanor Ippolitto. Antoinette is survived by her son, Ronald Gambassi and his wife Sara of Boise, ID, two daughters, Annette Langer and her husband Jeffrey of Holmdel, NJ and Marilyn Agnetti and her fiancé Steven Gilbert of Monroe Township, NJ, her brother, Joseph Russo and his wife Rosalie of Staten Island, NY, two sisters; Rose Marie Verdi and her husband Carl of Toms River, NJ, Catherine Rubino of Staten Island, NY, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-9pm on Tuesday January 16, 2018 and 5-9pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 - 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Wednesday January 17, 2018 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church - 185 Applegarth Road - Monroe Township, NJ followed by entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick.
