Obituary of Claire Juraska

Claire (Alsheimer) Juraska passed away unexpectedly while in Florida to celebrate her daughter’s wedding on Wednesday November 8, 2017. Claire was born in New Brunswick and was a lifelong resident of Monroe Township. She was employed by the Monroe Township Recreation Department for 32 years where she held several positions: Secretary for the Recreation Department, Secretary for Youth and Recreation Advisory Board, Secretary for Affordable Housing, Secretary for Human Relations, Special Events Coordinator and Secretary for the ADA Committee.
Claire was preceded in death by her parents, George and Idoma (Bradham) Alsheimer.
She is survived by her husband Paul G. Juraska, her daughter, Jacqueline K. (Juraska) Winter and her husband Eric D., all of Monroe Township, one brother, Gary S. Alsheimer of Lake Havasu City, AZ, three sisters: Donna Redwine and her husband Jack of Arizona, Kim Alsheimer of Arizona and Alita Alsheimer of Jamesburg and six grandchildren: Desiree, Alexis, Gabriel, Gavin, Jesse and Ethan.
Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday November 16, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Friday November 17, 2017 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church - 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by interment in Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg.
