Dorothy J. Popoli - Freehold, NJ Formerly of Monroe Township, NJ Dorothy J. Popoli, 89 died on Saturday November 11, 2017 at her residence in Freehold, NJ. Dorothy was born in St. Louis, MO; she resided in Emerson, NJ, Bedminster, NJ, Sarasota, FL, Monroe Township, NJ and Freehold, NJ. Dorothy was a homemaker, she was a self-taught painter at the age of sixty and she enjoyed pottery. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Nicholas A. Popoli (2008) and her brother, Robert Hattemer (1983). Dorothy is survived by her children: John N. Popoli and his wife Christine of Rhode Island, Joan M. Morton and her husband Edward F. of Sarasota, Robert F. Popoli and his wife Maria G. of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA., and Maria D. DaSilva and her husband Fred of Milltown, NJ, her eight grandchildren: Jeffery, Nicholas, Jamie, David, Julia, Michael, James and Steven and her ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Township, NJ 08831. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital
