Walter J. Wawrzynski, 94, died at his residence on Saturday October 28, 2017. Walter was born and raised in South River, NJ and has resided in Jamesburg, NJ for over fifty years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 701, North Brunswick and worked at General Cable Corporation in Perth Amboy and Kelly Springfield Tire Company in North Brunswick. Walter was a parishioner of Holy Trinity RCC, a life member of the St. James Knights of Columbus, Council 6336, a member of the Jamesburg - Monroe Senior Citizens and a member of the Polish National Alliance.
Walter is preceded in death by his loving wife Florence (Dobenski) Wawrzynski, his brothers: Edward and Anthony Wawrzynski, his sisters: Jean Mattei and Mary Makar.
Walter is survived by his brother John Wawrzynski, his sister, Alfreida Makwinski and many nieces and nephews of the Wawrzynski and Dobenski families.
Visitation will be from 9-11am on Thursday November 2, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Township, NJ 08831. Funeral services will begin at 11am on Thursday from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 11:30am at Holy Trinity RC Church - Helmetta - followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park & Mausoleum.
