Thomas W. Chan - Monroe Township, NJ Thomas W. Chan, 76, died on Saturday October 28, 2017 at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ. Thomas was born and raised in Hong Kong, China; he came to the United States in 1967 and resided in New York City, Brooklyn, NY and Bayside Queens before moving to Monroe Township, NJ in 1980. Thomas was employed by GHI, as a systems analyst for thirty two years, retiring in 1999. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church and enjoyed traveling and taking trips to Atlantic City. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of forty five years, Jennie Chan of Monroe Township, NJ, his two sons: David Chan and his wife Lesley of Audubon, PA, Jason Chan and his wife Hina of Cedar Park, TX, his sister, Foon Ho Chang of New York City and his five grandchildren Kyla, Mia, Sydney, Lily and Julia. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Wednesday November 1, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Township, NJ 08831. Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Thursday November 2, 2017 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10am at Immaculate Conception RC Church - followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park & Mausoleum.
