Obituary of Camille Grasso

Camille Grasso, 78, died on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at the Centra State Medical Center, Freehold, NJ. Camille was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; she resided in Staten Island for most of her life before moving to “The Ponds” Monroe Township, NJ eighteen years ago. Camille was a stay at home mom and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Italian American Club at The Ponds. Camille loved to bake, play cards and going to Atlantic City and playing slot machines. Camille is preceded in death by her loving husband Ray O. Grasso, her son, Ray Grasso, and her two brothers: Albert Rago and Nicholas Rago. Camille is survived by her three sons: Dennis S. Grasso and his wife Christine of Fairfield, NJ, Douglas R. Grasso and his wife Patricia of Jamesburg, NJ and Dean A. Grasso, Sr. and his wife Michele of Monroe Township, NJ and her eleven grandchildren: Samantha M. Grasso, Raquel M. Grasso, Gianni T. Grasso, Vincente D. Grasso, Salvatore L. Grasso, Cierra R. Grasso, Steven M. Grasso, Dean A. Grasso, Jr., Marissa R. Grasso, Adriana E. Grasso, and Raymond P. Grasso. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Friday October 27, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Township, NJ 08831. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Saturday October 28, 2017 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery - Staten Island.
