Obituary of Dorothy Clark Watson

Dorothy Clark Watson died on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at her home in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Watson was born and raised in New York City. She has resided in Monroe Twp. since 1967. Prior to raising her family as a homemaker, she was a telephone operator for the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. She later was a bookkeeper for her family business, Hollywood Landscaping Co. in Monroe Twp. She was a member of the NJ State Firemen’s Association Ladies Auxiliary, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed researching genealogy, and was a loving caretaker to many. She especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her parents, Augustus & Anna (Young) Clark, and three siblings, Augustus Clark, Anna Clark, and Cecelia Ostapiej.
She is survived by two children, Charles E. Watson, Jr. of Monroe Twp., and Ann Berlesky of South River, three siblings, Margaret Pfisterer of Monroe Twp., Suzanne LoMauro and her husband Robert of Monroe Twp., and Thomas Clark and his wife Cindy of Florida, one brother-in-law, Valentine Ostapiej, four grandchildren, Joseph Berlesky and his wife Nancy, Michael Berlesky and his fiancée Trisha, Charles E. Watson, III, and Christopher Watson, one great granddaughter, Angelina Berlesky, her ex-husband, Charles E. Watson, Sr., and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday October 13, 2017 and from 11:00am to 11:30am on Saturday October 14, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 - 732-521-0555. A funeral service will begin at 11:30am on Saturday October 14, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick, NJ.
