Obituary of Frances Garofalo

Frances (Incorvaia) Garofalo died on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 69 years old. Mrs. Garofalo was born and raised in Brooklyn. She resided in Staten Island for 21 years before moving to Stonebridge, Monroe Twp. in 2013. She was a Vice President of Human Resources for Manufacturers Hanover Trust prior to raising her family as a homemaker. Frances loved to travel, and visited Russia, Italy, and Kuwait. She was an avid reader, and was a member of the Women’s Club of Stonebridge. She was an active parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp., where she was a member of the Tuesday prayer group. She was a devoted grandmother to her newborn grandson who she loved dearly. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Anthony Garofalo of Stonebridge, Monroe Twp., one daughter, Gabriella Garofalo-Johnson and her husband Matthew of Westfield, two siblings, Leonardo Incorvaia and his wife Noelle of Newton, and Angela Moore of Wisconsin, one grandson, Joseph Johnson, two nieces, her goddaughter, Francesca Colver, and Lea Incorvaia, two nephews, J.T. Moore, and Vincent Incorvaia, and many other extended family members including, Jane and Duaij Al-Sabah, and their children, Laila, Munira, and Saalim. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, John Moore. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday September 15, 2017 and from 8:15am to 8:30am on Saturday September 16, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 - 732-521-0555. A funeral Liturgy will be 9:30am on Saturday at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd.
