Obituary of Rose DeGennaro

Rose DeGennaro - Monroe Township, NJ Rose DeGennaro, 85, died on Monday September 4, 2017 at The Elms of Cranbury, Cranbury, NJ. Rose was born in Jersey City, NJ and resided in Hoboken, NJ and Carteret, NJ before moving to Monroe Township, NJ in 2009. She was employed by various companies as a clerk and was later employed by the Gateway School in Carteret, NJ as a teacher’s aide retiring in 1992. Rose was an avid reader, she was especially fond of romance novels, and she enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City. Rose was also a parishioner of Queenship of Mary RC Church. Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore DeGennaro (2008). Rose is survived by her two sons: Robert DeGennaro of Monroe Township, NJ, John DeGennaro and his wife Andrea of South Plainfield, NJ, three grandchildren: Salvatore DeGennaro, Philip DeGennaro and his wife Krista, Stephanie DeGennaro and her fiancée Marco and her brother, John Policastro and his wife Marge of Kendall Park, NJ. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Thursday September 7, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Friday September 8, 2017 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10am on Friday at Queenship of Mary RC Church - 16 Dey Road - Plainsboro, NJ 08536 followed by Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery - 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031.
