Olga M. Petito, 92, formerly of Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ, died on Monday August 21, 2017 at the Rose Garden Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Toms River, NJ. Olga was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; she resided there for most of her life before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ in 1995. Most recently she has been a resident of Toms River, NJ. Olga was an active parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church and enjoyed cross stitching, spending time at the beach and bocce ball. She was also an avid reader and loved to cook for her family.
Olga was preceded in death by her husband Angelo Petito (2005), two brothers: Carmine Esposito (2015) and Michael Esposito (1982), and her sister Rose Watts (1996).
Olga is survived by her daughter, Diane Gallen and her husband Rory of Barnegat, NJ, her two sons: Charles Petito and his wife Patricia of Florence, AZ and Steven Petito and his wife Cindy of Littleton, CO., her three grandchildren: Steven Gallen and his wife Megan, Matthew Gallen and his wife Jessica and Alicia Gallen, and her great grandchildren: Liam and Stella Gallen. She is also survived by her sister Frances Incontro, her sister in law Mary Esposito and her brother in law Sonny Petito and his wife Marie, all of Staten Island, NY.
Visitation will be 2-6pm on Sunday August 27, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 - 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Monday August 28, 2017 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church - 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by Interment in Resurrection Cemetery - 361 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309.
