Dear Juanita, EJ and family,
Please accept my deep condolences on your tragic loss of Ed. My heart is breaking for you. I was so saddened to hear of his illness and struggle.
I was so pleased when Ed was hired at RVC. I knew he would help us all find our talents and abilities to make RVC a success! He was always there to go to bat for me and he recognized any contribution I may have made over the many years we worked together. He always made me feel that we were "partners" and equals and respected my knowledge of the field, as I did his.
I know he will be greatly missed at RVC, However, there is no measure of how you, family and dear friends will miss him. He was truly one of a kind and I was privileged to know and work with him.
I will be praying that strength and faith will help you through this very sad and difficult time.
