Obituary of Carmella DeFeo

Carmella (Longo) DeFeo died on Friday July 28, 2017 at Millenium Memory Care Center in Jamesburg. She was 85 years old. Mrs. DeFeo was born and raised in Borough Park, Brooklyn. She has resided in Greenbriar @ Whittingham, Monroe Twp. for over 20 years. She was a clerk and worked for Swift & Co., TWA, and Jardine all in New York City. She was a member of the Italian American Club, the Senior Social Club, and the After Hours Club all of Greenbriar @ Whittingham. She was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. She loved trips to Atlantic City. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carmine L. DeFeo of Greenbriar @ Whittingham, Monroe Twp., three children, Louis DeFeo and his wife Diane of Old Bridge, Philip DeFeo of Brooklyn, and Donna Patane and her husband Guy of Tabor City, NC, one sister, Nancy Macaluso of Wayne, one sister-in-law, Maryann DeFeo of Monroe Twp., seven grandchildren, Jacqueline Vargas and her husband Angel, Stephanie DeFeo, Christina DeFeo, Carmine DeFeo and his wife Courtney, Diana DeFeo, Brandon Patane, and Julia DeFeo, four great grandchildren, Justin, Johnathan, Julia, and Xolani, and many other extended family members. Visitation will be from 2-4pm & 7-9pm on Tuesday August 1, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Wednesday August 2, 2017 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am on Wednesday at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp., followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick.
