Obituary of Jean 'Blondie' Campo

Jean ‘Blondie’ (Route) Campo died on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at The Elms of Cranbury. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Campo was born in New Brunswick and has resided in Jamesburg her entire life. She was a promotion editor for Johnson & Johnson in Milltown for 50 years before her retirement in 1994. She was an active, life-long parishioner of St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg. She was a fabulous cook and loved hosting dinners and entertaining company. Most of all she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, and six brothers. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Vincent Campo of Jamesburg, her daughter, Mary Jean Popowski and her husband Donald of Monroe Twp., two grandsons, Don Popowski and his wife Kendall of Hamilton Twp., and Tony Popowski and his husband, Ross Reiter of Philadelphia, two great granddaughters, Hadley, and Rowan, and many loving nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday July 14, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 10:00am on Saturday July 15, 2017 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg, followed by Interment in the parish cemetery, Monroe Twp.
