Roswell H. Evans, Jr. - Monroe Township, NJ
Roswell H. Evans, Jr, 79, died on Friday July 7, 2017 at his residence. Roswell, also known as Buzz, was born in Waterbury, CT, raised in Morris Plains, NJ and resided in Monroe Township, NJ. Buzz was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics. He was employed by General Electric for 19 years as a data analyst before being employed by several different companies and retiring in 2003. Buzz sang in the United Methodist Church of Cranbury Choir, was a member of several Barbershop groups and played the clarinet and saxophone.
Buzz is preceded in death by his son Michael Evans (2014).
Buzz is survived by his loving wife Helaine R. Evans of Monroe Township, NJ, his daughter, Cynthia Benson of CA, his step son Leonard Ellis and his wife Rita of Marlton, NJ, his step daughter, Edie Ellis and her husband Steve of Croton - on - Hudson, NY, and his three grandchildren: Jack and Luke Ellis and Reese Evans.
