Obituary of Marion F. McKnight

Marion F. McKnight, 85, died on Monday June 5, 2017 at Centra State Hospital, Freehold, NJ. Marion was born in New York City and lived most of her life in North Bergen before moving to Roosevelt in 1985. She was a member and former officer of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2468 in North Bergen. Marion was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marion is preceded in death by her husband James P. McKnight (1996). Marion is survived by her son, William McKnight and his wife Roxanne of Anna, TX, three daughters: Elizabeth Possiel and her husband Gregg of Roosevelt, NJ, Marion Postorino and her husband Paul of Avenel, NJ, Patricia McKnight of Hightstown, NJ, seven grandchildren: Paul Postorino and his wife Melissa, Dylana Possiel and her fiancée William Smith, Philip Gormley and his wife Samantha, Tara Stevens and her husband Jeff, Wendy Carter and her husband Matthew, Jeff Possiel and his wife Ashley, Lindsay Possiel and her husband Christopher Mahoney, and seven great grandchildren: Alexandra, Paul, Ryan, Zac, Matthew, Natalie, Keith, and Elijah. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday June 6, 2017 and from 8:30-9:30am on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc., 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A Catholic Blessing will begin at 7:30pm on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be Wednesday June 7, 2017 in The Brigadier General William C.
