Stanley I. Kushner – Monroe Township, NJ
Stanley I. Kushner, 95, died on Wednesday March 22, 2017 at The Gardens at Monroe. Stanley was born in London England and resided in Paterson NJ until he and his new wife, Margaret, moved to North Haledon NJ. Later he lived in Wellington FL, Toms River NJ, Syracuse NY and most recently Monroe Township NJ. Stanley was employed as a manager by Universal Manufacturing Company and retired in 1988. Stanley proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp during World War II. As a working adult, Stanley achieved the MBA from Montclair University. Stanley was extremely intelligent and sharp witted; he enjoyed reading the New York Times from cover to cover every day and completing the crossword puzzles. When he was younger he took great pride in his morning 5 mile runs. In his later years, Stanley wrote short stories and was working on his autobiography. Stanley was a member of the Paterson Lyric Opera Theatre and a member of the Crescent Club, which included a group of former high school friends and their spouses.
Stanley is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Kushner (2016).
Stanley is survived by his daughter, Patti Amor of Monroe Township NJ; two sons: Kenn Kushner and his significant other Robyn Bombard of Manlius NY, R. Scott Kushner and his wife Corrinne of Liverpool NY; 6 grandchildren: Nathaniel, Aurora, Cody, Jared, Sarah, and Travis; and 2 great grandchildren: Heather and Jason.
A private cremation has been entrusted to the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home.
