Obituary of Donna M. Sicora

Donna M. Sicora – Monroe Township Donna M. Sicora, 72, died on Friday March 17, 2017 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Donna was born in Hightstown, NJ and resided in New Brunswick before moving to Monroe Township, NJ in 1970. She was employed at Wenzel's Furniture in Somerset and the last 12 years at Value City Furniture in East Brunswick. Donna enjoyed show horses and show dogs, she loved to shop and had a great attention to detail for everything that she did. Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Michael K. Sicora (2000), her mother Margaret (Bradley) Porrovechio (1996) and her son-in-law, Wayne Chris (2014). Donna is survived by her father, Salvatore Porrovechio and his wife Lorraine of Seaside Park, NJ, two daughters: Kim Sicora-Chris of Manalapan, NJ and Kelly Riley and her husband Christopher of Manalapan, NJ, her brother, Christopher Porrovechio and his wife Nancy of Kendall Park, NJ and her sister, Marie Heikkila and her husband Dave of Hudson, WI., her beloved Jack Russell's Jester and Tilly and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday March 22, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. A Catholic blessing will be 11am on Thursday March 23, 2017 at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the ASPCA or to any local animal charity of one's choice.
