Frances P. (LaPlaca) Grieco passed away on Saturday February 25, 2017 at home in Jamesburg. She was 91 years old. Mrs. Grieco was born in New Brunswick. She lived most of her life in Newark, East Orange, and Bellville. She has resided in Jamesburg since 2016. She was a credit clerk for The Star Ledger for 25 years before her retirement in 1990. She was a former parishioner of Holy Family RC Church in Nutley.
She was predeceased by her husband Victor Grieco, Sr. in 2013.
She is survived by two children, Victor Grieco, Jr. and his wife Joann of Jamesburg, and Linda Charney and her husband Steve of Brick, one sister, Mary Yacullo of Pauley's Island, SC, one grandchild, two great grandchildren, three dogs, Alisa, Kip, and Lucy, and many other nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be from 9am to 12pm on Wednesday March 1, 2017 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555, www.demarcofuneralhome.com. A funeral service will begin at the conclusion of the visiting hours at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
