Obituary of Ida Sessa

Ida (Maisto) Sessa died on Wednesday February 8, 2017 at The Elms of Cranbury. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Sessa was born in New York City. She lived in Queens, NY for many years before moving to Greenbriar @ Whittingham, Monroe Twp. in 1996. Most recently, she resided in Monroe Village, Monroe Twp. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a staff analyst for the City of New York. She was a past president and member of the Italian American Club of Monroe Twp. and was a former catechist for Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. where she was a parishioner. She enjoyed dancing, attending shows, and playing poker. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1997, two brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by four children, Andrew Sessa and his wife Marilyn of Queens, NY, Stephen Sessa of Agawam, MA, William Sessa and his wife Patricia Kobos of Monroe Twp., and Constance Buscemi and her husband Alan of Keller, TX, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many other extended family members. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Saturday February 11, 2017 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by a private Cremation.
