Mr. George A. DiChiaro died Friday January 6, 2017 at his residence in Toms River. He was 89 years old. Mr. DiChiaro was born in New York, New York and resided in East Brunswick for many years before moving to Toms River thirteen years ago. He was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Peace RC Church, North Brunswick, and a current communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River. Mr. DiChiaro was employed by Delco Remy as a machinist and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Mr. DiChiaro was a devoted family man who loved life and will be dearly missed.
He was pre-deceased by his loving wife Emma C. (Klinger) DiChiaro, his son George A. DiChiaro, Jr, his grandson Frank DeMarc, Jr, and two sisters: Camille Papariello and Angie Zadotti.
He is survived by his son, Anthony G. DiChiaro and his wife Lisa of Clark, three daughters, Annette Madama of Whiting, Kathleen DeMarc and her husband Frank of Brielle, and Mary Jones and her husband Robert of Toms River, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many other extended family members.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30am Tuesday January 10, 2017 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg followed by Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Monday at the funeral home.
