Obituary of Pauline J. Schieda

Pauline J. (Schimanski) Schieda died on Friday December 16, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Schieda was born and raised in Queens, NY. She later lived in Massapequa, LI, NY for 12 years before moving to Monroe Twp. in 2007. She was employed by the City of New York as an administrative assistant and worked for some time in the Office of Chief Medical Examiner. She loved spending time with friends and family, but especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John J. in 1996, and two siblings, Joseph Schimanski, and Joan Albini. She is survived by two sons, John C. Schieda and his wife Nancy of Monroe Twp., and Paul V. Schieda and his wife Terry of Wantagh, NY, two sisters, Emma Boyce of Ridgefield, CT, and Linda Rhodes of Islip, NY, six grandchildren, John Brian, Casey Marie, Tyler Robert, Emma Paige, Samantha Marie, and Anthony Joseph. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:30am on Wednesday December 21, 2016 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg followed by Interment in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, LI, NY.
