Ann P. (Fava) Urizzo died on Thursday December 15, 2016 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. She was 89 years old. Ann was born and raised in Brooklyn. She lived in Asheville, NC for three years before returning to Brooklyn and has resided in Monroe Twp. since 1995. She was a union waitress for many years in New York City and later was a receptionist for Thacher, Proffitt, & Wood LLP in the South Tower of the World Trade Center. She retired in 1995. She enjoyed travelling, knitting, crochet, cooking, board games, and black and white movies. She is survived by three children, Lois Emma and her husband Michael of Monroe Twp., Ralph Urizzo and his wife Anastasia of Monroe Twp., and Lisa Halleran and her husband Russell of Lumberton, one sister, Mary Ferrigno of Warwick, NY, one sister-in-law, Amelia Fava of Miller Place, NY, one cousin, Elizabeth Mineo of Brooklyn, NY, five grandchildren, Michael C. Urizzo, Sr. and his wife Denise, Lisa Ann Gemgnani and her husband Chris, Nicole Urizzo, Michael Emma, and Kelly Halleran, one great grandson, Michael C. Urizzo, Jr., and many other extended family members. Cremation is private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. A memorial mass will take place at 9:30am on Saturday January 7, 2017 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Committal and Entombment of Cremated Remains will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Princeton HealthCare System Foundation's Hospice Program, www.princetonhcs.org.
