Obituary of Valerie N. Fawcett

Valerie N. Fawcett passed away on Saturday December 3, 2016 at her home in Old Bridge, NJ. She was 23 years old. Valerie was born in Staten Island and resided there until moving to Old Bridge in 1999. She was a 2012 graduate of Old Bridge High School. She attended Farleigh Dickinson University for two years and Brookdale Community College for one year. She was a senior teller and worked for TD Bank in East Brunswick. Valerie enjoyed riding horses, makeup artistry, cooking, and music. She also loved to draw and was a talented artist. She was pre-deceased by her maternal grandfather, Val Ferraro, and her paternal grandmother, Joanne Bonfante. She is survived by her parents, Donna (Ferraro) Samarelli and Matthew J. Samarelli, Jr., her father, Vincent Fawcett, her brother, Matthew J. Samarelli, III, her maternal grandmother, Elisa (Granese) Ferraro, her paternal grandparents, Matthew J. Samarelli, Sr. and Eleanor (Russell) Samarelli, and many other extended family members and friends. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Thursday December 8, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Friday December 9, 2016 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10:15am at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, Old Bridge followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
