Mrs. Carole M. (Coletto) Murphy died on Thursday December 1, 2016 at Centra-State Medical Center in Freehold. She was 77 years old. Mrs. Murphy was born and raised in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. She raised her family in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn and has resided in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. since 2001. She was an office manager for over 20 years for Owen Manufacturing Co. in NYC before her retirement in 2002. She was a member of the Italian American Club and the Emerald Society of Rossmoor and was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. She enjoyed vacationing, with the Ottersteadts group of friends, in the Outer Banks, NC. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her cousins. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harry J. Murphy of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., three children, Laurie Trotta and her husband Tony of Mahopac, NY, Jeanne Volpe and her husband Vinny of Staten Island, NY, and Michael Murphy and his wife Fran of Manalapan, seven grandchildren, Nicole, Samantha, Anthony, Emily, Jonathan, Vincent, and Jordan, one brother, Bill Coletto, one sister-in-law, Patricia Doyle, and many dear cousins and other extended family members. Visitation will be from 2-6pm on Sunday December 4, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Monday December 5, 2016 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by a private cremation. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
