Mary I. (O'Shea) Kenny, 78, died on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Mary was born in Kilkenny, Ireland and moved to the United States in 1961. She resided in the Bronx, NY and Hazlet, NJ before moving to Monroe Township three years ago. She was employed by Sears in Middletown as a sales associate then by the NJ Blood Bank in Shrewsbury. She enjoyed cooking, especially baking her famous apple pie, and sewing. Mary was a long time parishioner of St. Ann's RC Church in Keansburg where she was a cantor. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Francis O'Shea, her mother and step father, Eileen and Jack Cantwell and her brother, Francis O'Shea. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Patrick Kenny of Monroe Twp., four daughters: Patricia O'Donnell and her husband Danny of Beachwood, Caroline Tomlinson and her husband Charlie of Keller, TX, Siobhan Mahon and her husband Patrick and Jennifer Clark and her husband Brian, all of Monroe Twp., four brothers: John O'Shea, James O'Shea, Gerald O'Shea and Dermot O'Shea, three sisters: Eleanor Maguire, Imelda Kennedy and Anne O'Grada, nine grandchildren: Daniel O'Donnell, Kaitlan O'Donnell, Patrick Tomlinson, Kelsey Tomlinson, Tyler Mahon, Kirsten Mahon, Madison Clark, Paige Clark and Gavin Clark and one great granddaughter, Kinsley O'Donnell. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9pm on Monday November 21, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Tuesday November 22, 2016 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park – South Brunswick. In lieu of flowers and for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association – www.alz.org or the American Heart Association – www.heart.org.
