Dear Sal,

One day when I was on the phone with your mother, when I lived in Queens. Your Mom told me that you wanted to speak to me, you had just turned four years old at that time..

So she put a very young Sal on the phone. And you said, and I quote "Aunt Josephine, do you want to hear a joke?" I said yes Sal -- So you proceeded to tell me the cutest dilly. After which we both Laughed....that was my
first fondest memory of you. And the second fondest memory was, Sal, "You Made My Day"

I also enjoyed the times I spent with you & all your family at your mothers house, when I lived in NJ.
I got to see first hand what a very warmhearted man you were. Always helping others. And you also were an
impeccable dresser, you took after your grandfather, (my brother). You will live on in my heart forever, as you do
in so many others.

Rest in peace my nephew,
Love Always,
Aunt Josephine

Dear Sal,

My Nephew, my friend. It was an honor to have had you in my life as both, and I wish you hadn't been taken from us so soon. Your time here was nowhere near long enough, but heaven sure must be beautiful now with you there.

I am going to speak for all of us now and say that our world will never be the same without you. You were a living encyclopedia, a walking GPS, a plethora of fun and occasionally odd knowldege, and a real jokester. We are all so thankful of the memories we have with you. Their value is beyong meaure. They are a testament of your life and we will never stop thinking of you and speaking your name.

Vivirás para siempre en nuestros corazones!

Love you always,
Aunt Janet

Sal, my loving son, I loved you from the first day I set eyes on you, but now my heart is broken. I have never felt so much pain & grief until the day you left us. I miss you everyday, your smile, your laugh, your willingness to help others. I remember years ago, when you showed me your drivers license, that you decided to be an organ donor. I admired you for that decision, that spoke volumes about what a special person you truly are. And even in death, you have given the final act of kindness & generosity to people you don't even know. We will cherish the great memories you gave us, wish there could have been more, We will Always Miss You Always, Rest In Peace, my son,
I will carry you in my heart forever.
We love you always, Sal
Until we reunite again,
Mom & Dad, xoxoxo

I will always remember my first day of Kindergarten when my Big Brother brought me into school for the first time. I was scared to go in, but he made it okay. He brought me by the hand and told me to sit at the table with my classmates. Through the years he continually looked out for me and, of course, teased me (with the help of his Uncle). He was always the one to check my tire pressure, the person to call for driving directions, and kept us up to date on community events. He will be truly missed. - Love Always, Lisa
